Beware: Dragons
Put this on your status if you know someone (or are related to someone) who has been eaten by dragons. Dragons are nearly unstoppable and, in case you didn't know, they can breathe fire. 93% of people won't copy and paste this because they have been eaten by dragons. The other 7% of people are sitting in the shower armed with fire extinguishers...

Growing up
So for the last couple of months me and my Hannah (read: fiancée) have been talking about moving out since I've now (at last!...) finished with education after years and years of it.
Short summary:
Third year at College - Just had to finish my Sociology A-level & met Hannah
First year of a Sociology degree @ Brighton - Decided I might have only enjoyed sociology because Hannah was in my class <3
Placement year at Cogapp - Sandwich degree because everyone knows you can't get a job without experience and can't get experience without a job.
So yea - three years *delayed* from the majority of my peers in starting my life. But I don't regret any of the decisions for a minute.
My new job is going well; I'm enjoying the work and the people are nice (everyone in digital media seems to be nice though... am yet to meet any cut-throat types). In fact it's going so well that last Friday I was offered a permanent contract - which I'm really happy about as it dispels any fears I had about moving out and potentially having to find a new job when I *needed* the money for rent, etc.
So we're looking into Hove for flats at around the £600-800 mark. We're not fussy...well, that's a lie. But who isn't going to be fussy about the first place they live and *cue mush* start their lives with their loved one. We basically want a 1 bed place but hopefully with a small garden / patio kinda area so we can put our bikes somewhere and have them not rust in the street like every other bike you see in Brighton.
We had discussed moving between Hannah s work (Hove) and my work (West London) but ultimately we want to live in or around Brighton 'cos that's where it's at, yo.
We've been looking at furniture and all that other jazz you need to live somewhere - even took at trip to Ikea last weekend to peruse some potential house fillings!
That's about it - opened a savings account - need a few k to move out!
Donations welcome!
Cheers.

Glasses
It would seem I am need of glasses. I realised last year some time whilst in America and trying to enjoy reading Dune that my eyes weren't necessary up to scratch - especially in bad light.
Since then I haven't really noticed much as the only reading I've done has been in sunlight... But travelling on the train made me confront this issue once again. After having an eye test and finding out that I'm long sighted (Yes - Hannah mocks me for this by holding books, etc far away - as this is how I have to read) I've chosen some browny / greeny Osiris glasses that (I hope) are awesome.
Didn't want black ones...as my un-chiselled features on my face tend to not lend themselves to any strong, black lines as they wash me out and *Woody Allen* me...
Anyway - they're on their way...pic incoming when I get them!..
Ciao!

Travelling
Well then - I've just got home after 2 weeks of work. How is it going? Pretty interesting - it's nice that I'm not doing the same thing every minute of every day...!
The first week as I mentioned before I was driven up to to Hammersmith by Mo... And although it actually saves me £120 a month to go by car - it just felt a bit like I'd been stripped of my autonomy - having to go in and leave at exactly the same time is fine... Until one person has to stay late or leave early and a train on the day would cost upwards of £20 (£25 return if you book an advance ticket).
So much to Mo's dismay (costs him far more to get the train than drive) I decided that good old Southern Rail (!) would be my mode of transport from now on. Pre-loaded with TV shows / Music and all the extra crap that comes with having a Smart Phone, the train journey this week has seemed effortless. Although I did realise today that True Blood is a bit riské for train time viewing...perhaps I'll find something more fitting like re-watching the whole of the IT crowd!
TL:DR version:
Job Good.
Train Good.
Home before Morrison's shuts.
'nuff said!

First!
Oh hi.
The first in what is more than likely going to be a blog about not a lot. Ideally I'll be creative and expand upon any tweets I might make... Until I decide upon a *theme* for my blog. Anti x or Pro x tend to be the more interesting blogs - so watch this space...
All right - edit already:
On Monday I'll be starting a new job @ an e-learning company, Manic Monkey - which I'm really excited about!
The drawback (and there's always a drawback) is that it's in London and I have to commute 4+ hours a day to get there and back!
Thankfully my friend @Mofei1 will be driving us there - which will definitely save me monies and hopefully cut down on ATS (Annoying train syndrome). This of course refers to 3-4 hours getting home because of delays.
So perhaps I'll write my blog from a *first proper job out of Uni (I got my 2:1 - go me!) and commuting like a mother trucker* POV.
*witty sign off*
